As time goes by, the English Language Center continually strives to keep up with the pace of change. Under the visionary leadership of our university founder, Dr. Pao, English courses in Ming Chuan became part of the compulsory curriculum. Later, before becoming our current university president, Dr. Lee established the English Language Center with the hopes of cultivating a unique English education program with innovative teaching ideology. Over the past 55 years, the English Language Center underwent several organizational and structural changes. Starting from the year of 2011, the English Language Center expanded further in order to comply with the development of our university's internationalization. Thus, the center is now divided into Administrative and Teaching units.
